The staff was super helpful, even carrying my bags upstairs! The hotel was cozy and had a lovely porch area. Breakfast was fantastic, and I loved the inviting firepit. It felt secluded yet close enough to downtown. A great experience 😊

It was charming old hotel overall, everything was great, I would give it other than 3 stars. I truly enjoyed configuration of the a double room. The location was nice, in the area, and the bed comfortable.

The decor of this so-called charming inn was worn out, honestly. Breakfast was mediocre at best, with sad coffee and bland waffles. How good. After all this, I would've expected a complimentary upgrade or more attention, but no. Instead, I was treated like just another guest. I just couldn't give a good review.

We had an amazing one-night stay in the Queen Suite! Breakfast was divine, and the room was bright and so cozy. The only downside was wishing for more towels!

Liked our comfy rooms in this hotel.
Was a lovely place for vacation. The stuff where friendly and were around whole time. The location of the hotel was NICE, to the area. Also, there was Kal Haven Trail, set within 5 minutes drive.

lovely porch area, inviting firepit, charming historic surroundings
The grounds definitely needed some work!!! One roll of toilet paper just doesn't cut it, especially when we ran out at night!!! A little improvement could go a long way with maintenance and supplies!!!

Great air conditioning and tv. Wi-Fi was slow, though.

Charming stay with a friendly atmosphere
The warmth and knowledge of our host, and the hotel was impeccably clean, with lovely porch areas that were perfect. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with a variety that left us full and satisfied. One small suggestion would be to offer coffee a bit earlier for those eager to start their day sooner.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was not just satisfying but a good experience, with fresh, generous portions each morning. It would be beneficial to have more comprehensive housekeeping, as I noticed some areas of the hotel could use a little extra care. The location, while short drive from downtown, felt somewhat isolated, missing out on the vibrant local energy. My experience was enjoyable but could benefit from slight improvements in maintenance and accessibility.

The location was perfect for cycling around South Haven, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was hearty, and our room was so cozy and inviting.
My kids wished for more activities to keep them entertained.
